Czech Republic (Czechia)
Plant species found nowhere else than the Czech Republic (p. 17 of Preslia pdf) include the Sandwort-leaved Mouse-ear Cerastium alsinifolium (botany.cz), the Serpentine Sandwort Minuartia smejkalii (IUCN), Minuartia corcontica (botany.cz), a sedge Carex derelicta (botany.cz), the marsh orchids Dactylorhiza bohemica (BioLib) and Dactylorhiza carpatica (BioLib), the Ash-mountains Bellflower Campanula gelida (Wikipedia), a butterwort Pinguicula bohemica (World of Pinguicula WM), the Moravian Pink Dianthus moravicus (IUCN), an everning primrose Oenothera moravica (PLADIAS), Knautia pseudolongifolia (Natura Bohemica WM) (ResearchGate), a meadow-grass Poa riphaea (IUCN), the dandelions Taraxacum clandestinum (Semantic Scholar) and Taraxacum sparsum (Semantic Scholar), the brambles Rubus vratnensis (PLADIAS) and Rubus violaceifrons (GBIF) and Rubus bohemiicola (PLADIAS), and several rowans: Sorbus portae-bohemicae (IUCN), Sorbus gemella (botany.cz), Sorbus albensis (botany.cz), Sorbus milensis (botany.cz), Sorbus barrandienica (IUCN), Sorbus alnifrons (PLADIAS), Sorbus rhodanthera (IUCN), and Sorbus sudetica (PLADIAS).
Snails unique to the Czech Republic include Bulgarica nitidosa (Malacologica Bohemoslovaca), Arion vejdorskyi (Wikipedia), and Cochlodina corcontica (Malacologica Bohemoslovaca). Other endemic invertebrates include a metallic wood-boring beetle Cylindromorphus bohemicus (macrophotography.cz), a mayfly Rhithrogena corcontica (BioLib), a wasp Tachysphex bohemicus (GBIF) a root-maggot fly Phorbia hadyensis (p. 6 of Diptera.info pdf), a sun fly Eccoptomera nevrlyi (GBIF), a springtail Folsomia mofettophila (GBIF), a sheetweb spider Entelecara obscura (CAS), an earthworm Allolobophora moravica (p. 36 of zoospol.cz WM pdf), an amphipod crustacean Niphargus diadematus (GBIF), and a cave-dwelling copepod Parastenocaris (or Proserpinicaris) moravica (ResearchGate) (Fauna Europaea WM).
The sole endemic vertebrate subspecies is the Cimrman Ural Field Mouse Apodemus uralensis cimrmani (Zoo Plzen WM) (ResearchGate).
Fungi known only from the Czech Republic include Boletus kluzakii (ResearchGate), Biscogniauxia querna (IUCN) (GBIF) and Geoglossum jirinae (Fungal Planet WM pdf). Endemic lichens include Sarcogyne lecanorina (dalib.cz). Platyhypnidium grolleanum (GBIF) (IUCN) is a moss known from a single specimen and may be a synonym of the more widely distributed Rhynchostegium riparioides.
