Insects from Finland include a grass-miner moth Elachista imatrella (Wikipedia), a leafroller moth Aethes kyrkii (laji.fi) (nrm.se WM), a plant bug Dichrooscytus fervens (flickr) (journal.fi pdf), a braconid wasp Phaenocarpa ungulosetosa (laji.fi), a fairyfly Lymaenon gracilentus (ResearchGate), and the ichneumon wasps Fennomacrus koponeni (ResearchGate) (laji.fi) and Mesochorus ranini (laji.fi) (p. 35 of DiVA WM pdf).
Endemic spiders include the money spiders Oreoneta fennica (p. 8 of KMK pdf) and Bolyphantes kilpisjaerviensis (araneae) and a ground spider Micaria palmgreni (araneae). A tardigrade Macrobiotus naginae (ResearchGate) is known only from the Rokua sand dunes.
The Saimaa Ringed Seal Pusa hispida saimensis (WWF) (sll.fi) is an endemic subspecies restricted to Lake Saimaa.
Vascular plants unique to Finland are limited to microspecies of dandelions, hawkweeds, and a buttercup Ranunculus valtae (GBIF). Endemic dandelions include Taraxacum nylandicum and Taraxacum porcellisinus (both at SEKJ pdf), Taraxacum erici and Taraxacum laudabile (both at SEKJ pdf), Taraxacum cabannaeforme (ResearchGate), Taraxacum volitans (figs. 12-13 at journal.fi pdf), Taraxacum subinvestiens (ResearchGate), and Taraxacum subulisquameum (POWO). Endemic hawkweeds include Hieracium prenanthotavasticum (Luomus WM), Hieracium cornigerum (GBIF), Hieracium impunctatum (POWO), and Hieracium hyalinellum (POWO) (BHL).
Fungi known solely from Finland include Hygrophorus betulae (ResearchGate), Inocybe culicis (Inocybaceae), and Cortinarius (or Phlegmacium) ochribubalinus (GBIF). Lichens known only from Finland include Verrucaria vacillans (GBIF) and Verrucaria cavernarum (GBIF).
