Fungi known only from Poland include Cortinarius alutarius (p. 237 of ResearchGate pdf) and Coprinopsis rugosomagnispora (ResearchGate).
Important areas for endemic species include the Carpathian Montane Forests (EoE) and the Bialowieza Forest (BiaĆowieski Park Narodowy) in the Central European Mixed Forests (EoE).
