Sierra Leone
Freshwater fish unique to Sierra Leone include several killifish: Scriptaphyosemion chaytori (Killifish of West Africa) (iNaturalist), Scriptaphyosemion fredrodi (Killifish of West Africa), Scriptaphyosemion etzeli (Killifish of West Africa), and Scriptaphyosemion wieseae (BHL). Other endemic freshwater fish include an electric catfish Malapterurus leonensis (GBIF), a mochokid catfish Chiloglanis polyodon (GBIF), the bagrid catfishes Notoglanidium maculatum (PlanetCatfish) and Notoglanidium thomasi (GBIF), an elephantfish Marcusenius meronai (GBIF), a sleeper goby Kribia leonensis (iNaturalist) (BHL), a barb Enteromius bagbwensis (p. 79 of IRD WM pdf), and the danionids Leptocypris taiaensis (Morphbank WM) and Raiamas scarciensis (Wikipedia). Endemic genera include the Jelly Bean Tetra Ladigesia (Seriously Fish), a cyprinid Prolabeo (FishBase) and Payne's Catfish Mochokiella (PlanetCatfish).
A snake eel Ophichthus leonensis (Fig. S7D at ResearchGate) is a marine fish known only from a single specimen found in the gut of another fish off the coast of Sierra Leone.
The Tingi Hills Toad Sclerophrys cristiglans (BHL) is an endemic amphibian.
The only specimen of the Sierra Leone Worm Lizard Cynisca degrysi (BHL) (BHL) no longer exists and it is unclear if it actually originated in Sierra Leone.
Endemic butterflies include Cupidesthes salvatoris (p. 11 of Metamorphosis pdf), Borbo liana (p. 21 of Metamorphosis pdf), Euphaedra afzelii (MCZ), and Euphaedra normalis (bottom right at BHL). Endemic moths include Ectropona revelli (African Moths WM), Strigivenifera smithi (GBIF), and Heraclia catori (African Moths WM).
Other endemic insects include the dragonflies Zygonyx annika (ADDO WM) and Lestinogomphus africanus (GBIF), a damselfly Pseudagrion pacale (ADDO WM), the longhorn beetles Molorchus leonensis (Cerambycidae Species WM) and Taurotagus vestitus (Cerambycidae Species WM), the scarab beetles Adoretus seideli (p. 20 of BJE WM pdf) and Adoretus matotokensis (RBINS), the ground beetles Abacaecus walterrossii (GBIF) and Chlaenius sierraleonensis (p. 41 of Entomofauna WM pdf), a rove beetle Platyprosopus maximus (GBIF), a predatory water beetle Hydaticus lativittis (GBIF), a pill beetle Chaetophora milesi (GBIF WM), a weevil Titilayo takanoi (Fig. 9 at ResearchGate), the planthoppers Paranotus charlotteaae (Dr. Lech Borowiec WM pdf) and Centromeriana lindbergae (PLAZI), the grasshoppers Afrocriotettix teliferus (OSF) and Phymeurus lomaensis (GBIF), a cricket Trigonidomorpha pallipes (GBIF), a katydid Mangomaloba excavata (GBIF), and an ant Crematogaster magitae (AntWiki).
